A Heavy track at Warwick Farm meant that Caulfield was our only centre in action yesterday. With the Thousand Guineas run last Saturday the meeting seemed to have something “missing” but we still managed to bet into 6 races.
We looked like scoring a massive win in the 1st with Bring Back (they bet $23) storming down the outside to be just beaten by Rawnaq who got the nice run through closer to the fence. It would have been a great start to the day but unfortunately continued our run of massive priced-horses running 2nd. We were also on Longeron who led them for a long way before finishing 3rd at the excellent each-way price of $7.
We did get the chocolates on Bondeiger in the 3rd and he was $4 Top Fluc but was available up to $4.75 with Bet365.
On the day Members made a loss of 5.4 units, around $270 if you bet in $50 units.
