Just a short note about our service over the next 4-6 weeks.
History tells us that after Saturday’s Finals Day we invariably see the real winter racing take over where the less well-performed horses win a few races, some at very large odds.
We’re no strangers to finding these big-value winners but the variance in speed figures means that it can be prudent to enter fewer markets when there is a greater chance of an upset occurring.
To that end, you’ll see a reduced number of races that we are operating in on the major days as we look to play a tighter hand over the winter months. We still expect to find plenty of winners but it would be remiss of us not to consider how rain-affected tracks (or a lack of) can play a part in generating form and how that form is used in our assessments.

Onto today’s racing, with the Heavy track forecast at Cranbourne we’ve decided to pass on the meeting as well as Morphettville which is a poor meeting.
That leaves us with 3 meetings and our Ratings are now posted for Warwick Farm, Eagle Farm and Belmont. We’ve rated 8 races in total.
The first rated race for today is Eagle Farm race 4 at 2.08pm
